Join Greenheart Transforms for the second annual day-long event featuring Chicago change-makers making a positive difference in their local communities. Envisioning a World Transformed had over 150 attendees in its first year, and for the second year we are celebrating Leadership Transformed by taking a closer look at Chicago leaders transforming their industries.

In one day you will gain a well-rounded and inspiring understanding of the positive changes happening in Chicago and how to be a part of it! We are bringing in Founders, Presidents, and other top leaders of organizations and companies to share their story, mission, and vision with you.

Time: 11-5pm. Doors open at 10:30 for networking and coffee

Location: Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum in Lincoln Park. South Gallery is located on the 2nd floor- Follow the posted signs.

Keynote Speaker: Cassandra Vieten, CEO and President of the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS). Funded by the National Institutes of Health, the State of California, and several private donors and foundations, her research has focused on spirituality and health; development and pilot testing of mindfulness-based approaches to cultivating emotional balance (primarily in the areas of addiction and pregnancy/postpartum well-being); and factors, experiences, and practices involved in psychospiritual transformation to a more meaningful, compassionate, and service-oriented way of life.

Victor SaadVictor Saad is the creator of the Leapyear Project and founder of Experience Institute. In April, he wrote an eighteen-month plan to learn about ways to change the world practically and create avenues to help my friends develop their ideas. After much research and contemplation he left a job he loved to take the biggest risk he’s ever taken: create a self-made MBA in design, business, & social change through 12 apprenticeships/experiences in 12 months. Through this experience he founded the Experience Institute for others to do the same!

Amy Coffman PhillipsAmy Coffman Phillips is the founder and Project Coordinator for B- Collaborative. She serves as one of nature’s ambassadors to the human built environment. She bridges her love of nature and the creative process to create and facilitate engaging (nature-based) projects, from immersive education to built environment consulting. Amy is also a co-founder of Biomimicry Chicago, a local resource for those looking to learn from nature to design sustainably and restoratively. Amy is a Certified Biomimicry Professional, Illinois licensed architect, MBA, and LEED AP BD+C.



Amanda Britt


Amanda Britt is the founder and CEO of Panzanzee, a Chicago based, one-stop service for social enterprise that aims to aggregate a creative network around business. Part incubator, part community, it is a learning organization geared towards social entrepreneurs. Here new start-ups will find business development support, networks, and a co-working space which facilitates peer-to-peer support.








Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

There will not be alcohol, but please bring an ID for checking in. All ages are welcome.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Nope, we’re trying to stay green by doing everything electronically!
