This community event is an extension of our last big event in November, Envisioning A World Transformed. Get inspired by your Chicago community and join us for an evening of organic food and great conversation while listening to visionaries talk about the change-maker movement happening around the city! This event’s theme is Spring Awakening.
Envisioneer: (n) a pioneer who imagines, conceives and actuates environmental, cultural or spiritual solutions to environmental and social problems
Envisioneers is an intimate gathering of 70 Chicago activists, writers, social entrepreneurs, environmentalists, healers and YOU! Come for concise presentations on relevant topics such as:
- “Awakening” your dreams of starting a social enterprise/ non-profit
- Integrating your garden this Spring for yourself and nature (our relationship with the natural world)
- “Awakening” your community to be a conscious one!
- “Awakening” your spirit and empowering it!

Emanuel Kuntzelman is a lifelong seeker and advocate of environmental awareness and world peace. Founder of the non-profit exchange organization, Center for Cultural Interchange; he has helped thousands of participants build a foundation of cultural understanding across the globe while promoting environmental initiatives. Dedicated to personal and social transformation, Emanuel leads workshops, lectures and retreats with the idea that personal growth leads to a transformed society of holistic humans. Other endeavors include work with Ibiza’s ecological center, Casita Verde and the creation of the eco-friendly, fair trade Greenheart Shops on the island of Ibiza, as well as in Chicago.
Belinda Li’s passion for building a better tomorrow and creating a positive impact in the world brought her on a 14-year journey from medical physics, to business consulting, non-profit administration, and sustainability program management, across the private, public, non-profit, and academic sectors. She is currently the Founder, CEO & Chief Consultant of CiTTA Partnership, a management consulting firm driven by the vision of guiding companies and organizations to optimize their economic goals as well as their environmental and social impact, through market research, strategic planning, project management and web-based solutions services.
Mark Anthony Lord is the founder of the Bodhi Spiritual Center, an internationally recognized spiritual leader, and the author of The Seven Living Words- An Illuminated Perspective on the Seven Last Words of Jesus. A gifted and dynamic speaker, he offers fresh perspectives on sacred wisdom teachings. As a leader within the Bodhi Spiritual Center, Marc Anthony Lord has helped create a space where people of all paths come together to discover and reveal God (greater freedom, love, and purpose) in their lives. His authentic, intuitive messages make known the presence of God in every area of Life. People are empowered to discover their own insights and innate divinity as they remember that God is within, always accessible, and always fun.
Andrea Mattson is co-founder & manager of Edible Alchemy Food Co-Operative, a community group focusing on providing Midwest grown sustainable produce and bulk as well as education, private chef services, mobile kitchens, and more. She is a member of the Eco Collective in Pilsen where she manages the rooftop garden & collaboratively creates projects & events such as the Feastival & Burners-without-Borders Winter Ball with her loft-mates. She and her partner Dietrich travel as Edible Alchemy Kitchen to cook for Burning Man, Lakes of Fire, Bhakti Fest, and private events.
Christopher Breedlove is a Chicago based artist, filmmaker and producer with broad experience. He has profiled events and performances in Chicago, but has also produced videos. He invented the Human Avatar Project (Electric Forest), and built bicycle-powered parade floats for The Dream Community parade company. As a community leader, Christopher sits on the board of Burners Without Borders, is president of the Chicago not-for-profit Bold Urban Renaissance Network (B.U.R.N.), and serves as Regional Contact for the Burning Man Project. He has been Volunteer Coordinator and Arts Curator for the regional burn, Lakes of Fire. He holds a BA in Film/Video from Columbia College Chicago.
Julia Bunn, AKA The Spirited Gardener, is a proponent of organic methods of pest control and amendments for soils and plants including Natural Lawn Care techniques. In 2009, Julia trained to become a certified Aquascapes contractor and a Green Roof/Green Wall installer. A member of MELA (Midwest Ecological Landscaping Alliance) since 2008 and the LDA (Landscape Design Association) since 2006, Julia participates in professional development programs. In 1995, Julia became a Master Gardener through the University of Illinois Extension Service. Her “specialty is working with [individuals] to produce gardens that serve human needs and the needs of nature.”
